Delivery, Cancellation and Refund Policy

This page explains how the digital invitation service is delivered, on what terms you can cancel your order, and how the refund process works.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. Delivery

The Davet Cepte service is fully digital; there is no physical shipment, and therefore no delivery or shipping fee.

  • Delivery is complete when the invitation link and any QR code are sent to you by e-mail or message.
  • The delivery date is set in writing in the order confirmation, taking into account your event date and the scope of the request.
  • In any case the performance period cannot exceed thirty days from the conclusion of the order.
  • Add-ons (AI photographs, intro video, custom domain) are delivered with the main invitation or on a separate date stated in the order confirmation.

2. Order cancellation

You can cancel your order according to the stages below. It is enough to send your cancellation request in writing to yasal@davetcepte.com.

StageApplicable terms
Before design work has startedThe full amount paid is refunded.
After design work has started, before deliveryA fair amount is deducted in proportion to the work completed up to that point; the remainder is refunded.
After the invitation has been deliveredAs the service is deemed performed electronically, no refund is made. Claims of defective performance are outside this rule.

If your event is postponed, you can request a date change instead of a cancellation. The date and time details of a published invitation are updated at no extra cost.

3. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw within fourteen days of the conclusion of the contract without giving a reason. It is sufficient for the notice to reach us within that period in writing or on a durable medium.

The cases in which the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised are listed in Article 15 of the Distance Contracts Regulation. For our service these are: services performed instantaneously in electronic form, work prepared in line with the consumer's requests, and services whose performance has begun with your express consent before the withdrawal period expires.

If you do not want design work to begin before the withdrawal period expires, simply say so in writing when confirming the order. Your right of withdrawal is then fully preserved for fourteen days.

4. Refund process

  1. Send your refund request to yasal@davetcepte.com together with your order details.
  2. Your request is assessed within three business days at the latest and the outcome is confirmed to you in writing.
  3. The amount to be refunded is returned within fourteen days at the latest from the date your request reaches us, using a method consistent with how you paid.
  4. No cost is charged to you for the refund. Processing times at your bank or payment institution are outside our control.

5. Defective performance

If the delivered invitation does not match the characteristics agreed in the order confirmation, you may exercise your statutory options under Law No. 6502. In practice, our first step is to remedy the shortcoming free of charge and within a reasonable period.

  • Free repair/correction: the identified shortcoming is remedied as quickly as possible.
  • Price reduction: if the shortcoming cannot be remedied, a fair reduction is applied.
  • Rescission: if the shortcoming makes the service unusable, the amount paid is refunded.

6. Specific cases

Custom domain
The domain name is registered in your name through a third-party registrar. Once registration is complete, the domain fee cannot be refunded under the registrar's rules.
AI-generated content
For AI photograph and video add-ons, no refund is made for that item once production is complete and the content has been delivered to you. If cancelled before production, a full refund applies.
Cancellation of the event
If your event is cancelled for reasons beyond your control, no refund is made for an invitation already delivered; however, on request the invitation is updated at no extra cost for use on a later date.

7. Applications and disputes

If your request cannot be resolved, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee at your place of residence within the monetary limits announced for the relevant year; disputes above those limits are heard by the Consumer Courts.
