Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on davetcepte.com, why they are used, and how you can manage your preferences.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a website. Local storage is another technology that stores information in your browser for a similar purpose. In this policy both are referred to together as “cookies”.

2. Cookies we use

Our site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to work. We do not use advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to perform the basic functions you request and, under applicable legislation, may be used without explicit consent. These cookies do not identify you and are not used for advertising.

3. Server logs

Our hosting infrastructure may keep access logs (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser information) for security and error detection. These logs are not used for advertising or profiling and are kept for a maximum of twelve months.

4. Third-party content

Fonts are hosted on our own infrastructure, so no request is sent to a third party for them. When you tap the directions link inside an invitation you are taken to the relevant map provider's site, and from that point their cookie policy applies.

No analytics or measurement tool is currently used on the site. If such a tool is added in future, this policy will be updated and, where legislation requires, your explicit consent will be obtained.

5. Managing your cookie preferences

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies the site keeps working, but your language and theme preferences reset on every visit.
