Privacy Policy

This policy covers the davetcepte.com website, the invitation pages prepared for you, and the features attached to those pages such as RSVP and memory sharing. The legal grounds for processing personal data and your rights are set out in more detail in the Data Protection Notice.

When you give it to us

The name, contact details, event details and the images and texts you send for the invitation, through the enquiry form, e-mail, phone or messaging.

When your guests give it

The name, attendance status, party size and note entered in the RSVP form, and the photos and videos uploaded to the memory-sharing area.

Automatically

Technical preferences such as your language and theme choice, together with server logs kept for security purposes by the hosting infrastructure.

• To collect the memory content uploaded by your guests and hand it over to you
• To meet invoicing and statutory record-keeping obligations
• To keep the service secure and prevent misuse

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling or sale to third parties. Sending you commercial electronic messages requires your separate consent; declining does not affect your use of the service.

We share your information only to the extent necessary to deliver the service and meet legal obligations:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers
• E-mail, messaging and file storage providers
• Accounting and financial advisory providers
• Public authorities and judicial bodies — only where legally required

Our providers process your data solely on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes. Some providers' servers may be located abroad; in such cases the transfer is made with the safeguards in Article 9 of Law No. 6698.

Invitation pages are published at a link that is hard to guess and marked so that search engines do not index them. Since anyone holding the link can view the invitation, it matters that you share it only with the people you intend to invite.

Only the invitation owner and the people they authorise can access the attendance panel. Guests cannot see each other's contact details.

We keep data for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected and for the retention periods required by legislation. The periods are set out in detail in the table in the Data Protection Notice. When the period expires, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

After your event you may ask for the invitation content and guest records to be deleted early; such a request is carried out without delay.

• All pages are served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
• Access to data is limited to the people needed to deliver the service.
• Backups and access logs are reviewed regularly.
• In the event of a data breach, the notifications required by legislation are made as soon as possible.

No online service can guarantee absolute security; but we apply reasonable and current technical and organisational measures to reduce the risk.

Our service is not directed at children. For events such as birthdays or circumcision ceremonies, a child's name or photograph may appear in the invitation; responsibility for sharing that content rests with the parent or guardian who sends it to us. At the parent's request the content is removed without delay.

You can exercise your rights to access, correct and delete your personal data and to object to its processing at any time. The application procedure is explained on the Data Subject Request page.

We may update this policy in line with changes to our service or to legislation. The current text applies from the moment it is published on this page; the date at the top changes with every update.
